About the Artist

About Mary Lee Hoffman
Contemporary Pop Realism - a blend of recognizable portraiture, bold color, graphic patterns, and playful individuality.
Mary Lee Hoffman is a Texas-based acrylic and mixed media artist whose work combines bold color, graphic compositions and a touch of nostalgia. Drawing inspiration from mid-century modern design, vintage fashion, music and pop culture, she creates distinctive pieces that balance precision with playfulness.
Largely self-taught, Mary Lee enjoys experimenting with unconventional materials, incorporating metallic leaf, texture, and reflective elements to bring unexpected dimension to her work. Her art celebrates individuality, creativity, and the idea that art should spark curiosity, stir a memory, or simply make someone smile. And if it happens to have a little attitude, all the better.
